Bridget & Amadeus. A rustic country barn wedding in the Finger Lakes
We met Bridget and Amadeus for the first time during one of our routine NYC trips. They live in Brooklyn so we arranged a meeting at a local Starbucks. Right from the moment we met them Teri and I looked at each other and smiled. They were two of the most down to earth people we’ve ever met. They spoke about a barn wedding they were planning in the Finger Lakes region of New York State, near where I grew up. Teri and I were immediately excited about the prospect. We loved the idea of a Brooklyn Couple getting married in a place far far from the city. Someplace peaceful where everyone could celebrate the union of two beautiful families. Barn weddings were common place long before country clubs and convention halls. Getting back to the tradition of two families pitching in, decorating, and celebrating with each other was simply an amazing wedding experience they we wont soon forget.

The pictures are so beautiful. So many beautiful, loving and romantic “moments” were captured. I never gave thought that a “Barnyard Wedding” could be so elegant. It’s like a perfect mix of how love and life should be.
